DESCRIPTION
  1. Design and implement an appropriate curriculum for each content area
  2. Assess client performance levels, learning styles, strengths and weaknesses, and develop appropriate goals and objectives
  3. Measure and evaluate client progress
  4. Participate in the Individualized Education Programs (IEP) process as required
  5. Prepare weekly lesson plans and substitute lesson plans
  6. Complete all paperwork including assessment reports, quarterlies, year-end reports, report cards and IEP goals and objectives as required and on time
  7. Maintain an organized, neat and stimulating classroom space
  8. Serve as a role model for clients at all times
  9. Set and maintain consistent/constructive limits and provide corrective learning/processing experiences for clients
  10. Communicate job related information effectively to team members
  11. Actively participate in department meetings, treatment teams, quarterly conferences, IEP meetings, etc
  12. Attend all required orientations and trainings
  13. Actively participate in and utilize supervision by bringing agenda items, setting goals, etc
  14. Use and reassess behavior management systems for individual clients, combining firm limit-setting, discipline and therapeutic non-violent physical intervention if needed
  15. Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested by supervisory or administrative staff
QUALIFICATIONS

The successful candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree, Masters Degree and SPED certified with coaching experience preferred. Must have excellent organizational and computer skills, while being able to multi-task. Any candidate hired must have a valid driver’s license. This is a full-time position.
