Day School Assessment Services

Brandon provides short-term, 45-day assessment services as a component of the special education school program. The program is designed to meet the individual needs of the student as determined by the referring school system. Length of stay varies depending on the requested level of assessment.

Brandon's Day School provides a structured learning environment similar to that of a public school but on a much smaller scale. In this supportive and highly structured learning environment, students improve their academic and social skills, develop more appropriate behavioral controls and improve their self-esteem. Most children entering Brandon return to a public school setting.
